VILAMOURA EQUESTRIAN CENTRE
The Vilamoura Equestrian Centre is one of the best Equestrian Facilities in Europe hosting two of the biggest show jumping events in the international calendar – the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour and the Vilamoura Champions Tour.
These Equestrian facilities have the capacity for about 750 horses, providing 5 sand arenas and 1 lunging arena.
All the arenas were built by Otto Sport (ref.: Rio Olympic Games 2016) offering world class ground conditions for the horses during the competitions.
The Equestrian Centre is run by the Moura Family, one of the most traditional families of the show jumping sport in Portugal with 4 generations of show jumpers. António Moura and his team have been organizing international shows since 1998 and has started the winter tour in 2003 in Vilamoura but in a different place. In the year of 2013 António and his team have taken charge of the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre and the facilities have been improving every year, being at the moment one of the most recognizable places in the Equestrian World.
